Lately..

I have not been writing lately, 

I know! 

I am such a procrastinator sometimes!!

This is whats been going on 

It snowed LOADS on my birthday

iPod, textbooks and brownies

I have been by myself for a couple days now. All i have been doing is download music, workout , write a paper, do research for another paper and bake brownies. And all of it without leaving the house AT ALL! 

It's ok though. This week i plan on not being a Hermit at all

I have things to do , like go to the library

because for my last paper i had the bright idea of chose Stem cell 

as my research project! 

Don't ask, i have always been interested on this subject for some reason.

Finally today after writing my paper at the eleventh hour, 

i realized i had brownies to bake

so i did. 

And i have not even taste them yet

I would , but i drank about a gallon of earl grey today, so i am a little full.

I like being a rebel when Josh is not around. 

I go to bed at 2 am

i drink lots and lots of tea :D

And i listen to music really really loud

I also watch movies he would not watch with me or

movies that i like to watch alone.

But i miss him, so come back home soon amor!

The early Birthday

Last night Josh surprised me with a couple birthday presents. Even though it is not til the 17th, but if you have been reading my blog, you would know he wont be around until the 18th :((

So yesterday after work he gave me this 

I have a thing for Buddha statues and Buddha art, and i have been eyeing this one at this little store on post. Most of the times i see one, i have to buy it! Sad i know! lol

And i also have a thing for perfumes! Lately i had been raving about this particular one. So well done Mr. Bogart! :D

Of course he also got me this very camera i took pictures with! A Nikon S70. And that one i had been wanting since it came out! 

But i would take it all back if Josh could spend that day with me :(

He is also left me secret notes around.Love note. Like the one i just found by the computer. He must have written it when he left early today.

The offering

Today did not start as a good day, as i was informed that Josh would not be here for my birthday, since he has to go to some stupid training up north and for some reason they want him to go from saturday til next thursday. My birthday is on the 17th, so he is going to miss it, and not just that. I will be completely alone. So that made me real mad and sad. 

But he had a plan to made me feel better. After work he brought me a bunch of godiva chocolates and also this :

So of course, it brightened my day and made me feel muuuuuuuuch better! 

He is so sweet! Under all that hardcore appearance there is a super sweet amazing person, even if he doesnt want anyone else to know ;)

It worked!!! Posting those embarrassing pictures of our new flat made us get to work a little bit on it. We started with the living room, and here is proof for it

We still have some work to do, like find a structure for all our DVD collection. Yes, a structure, because we have sooooo many a simple piece of furniture would not do!

procrastinating

Procrastinating is my favorite sport, and let me tell you, i am really good at it.

For example , the past two papers i had for school. The details were given to us well in advance. But yet i chose to wrote them the last day of the due date. I know it is bad and all, but just because i actually wrote them the last day, doesnt mean i was not thinking about it!

All those insomniac nights i had, well, they paid off, because while i was in bed trying to sleep, my brain was working, yes working instead of sleeping and resting, and i got my papers in my head to the T. So all i had to do was write them. It came out pretty good for paper number 1. I got an 85% wich is not bad, and praise from the teacher. Essay number 2, well, i do not have my grade yet, but i was not as happy with it. I am sure when the professor is done reading he is gonna be tripping. It is a description essay and somehow i ended up talking about the road from my parents to my grandparents, describing it all. i just had to get it all out of my head!!

Example number 2, laundry. nuff said. Saturday night, Josh is gone til tomorrow, and i am doing laundry. Not because i had nothing else to do. No. For necessity . Sad i know.

Example number 3. I am just gonna give a visual on that one. Maybe the shame of sharing this pics with the world will make me work on it!! just maybe :)

We are still working on it and still looking for a few pieces of furniture, so that is part of the mess :)

The tax monster

I have been dreading and procrastinating to file taxes for a couple months now, and i guess its time. Not even the tax return money is stimulating enough anymore.
What a dull blog post huh, but i just had to tell the world.
tomorrow more! ;) and pics soon , since i have been trying to get the housse together, but still full of boxes and gadgets. I am such a bad housefrau! Help!
