An awesome time with pictures to come

My friend Jules came to visit for 9 days in Korea! 

We had an awesome time! 

unfortunately, i have to take my cam to the camera doctor, so no pics, 

but she has like a million which i will be stealing soon and posting here

We did a lot of walking and exploring in Seoul

also here in the area

we visited the most important temple in Seoul

had our very own monk guide to show us and also had a tea ceremony and made our own paper lotus lanterns, 

that made me feel like i was back in middle school, making a project for mothers day or something like that

She is wanting to be a reporter so she video blogged everything and took a bunch of pics

i was the camera woman :D

We had a blast! 

So much that Jules tried to change her flight to stay an extra  days

but had no luck because of overbooking :(

I can not wait for my bestie to go on another adventure with me!

I hear Spain is in the horizon for next summer :D

Urban feel

So on wednesday, my friends and I

ventured to Seoul taking the public transportation.

We decided NEVER to take the bus again

It takes waaay long

and the bus has this flower 80's like curtains 

that are just too tacky to stare at for an hour and a half

Plus with the train you can be there in 50 minutes sharp

with no worries about traffic

I have officially become the expert on public trans

I guided everyone through the subway

which none of us had taken in Seoul yet

and we never got lost :D

I am so proud 

here is a moment of enlightenment 

when i figured out where we were going

and i am sooo feeling the Urban vibe! 

I want to move there badly!!

After getting to this neighbourhood 

we proceeded to go to this underground galleries

to pick up costumes for belly dance class

and it was a blast!

There were literally dozens of little shops 

it was like a maze!

After that was done we went to eat chinese :D

and as a reward we ended the day with this

I belong

Today we spent all day in Seoul, 

It was a lot of fun walking down Itaewon

It is a neighbourhood in Seoul

famous for its shopping. 

It is crazy, you can find anything brand name or not

for a lot less. Love it!

Lots of street vendors with knock off wallets and purses and what not

It also is famous for how cosmopolitan it is.

There are a ton of restaurants from all over the world.

Today we ate at an arabic one, from Dubai.

It was awesome! 

I have missed my weekly falafels.

I just had an awesome time

and it made me realize how much i love the city.

I belong there! 

And here is us taking the bus back home. Josh fell asleep

and i could not control myself :D

He is so cute!

I can not wait til next weekend. 

We are gonna go there again! 

Do some shopping hopefully!

I did not buy anything

but Josh did

And i was jealous

because i was not in the mood

but i will next week :D
